2D Task List

Being busy is not the same as being productive.

It's easy to drown in pointless tasks without accomplishing anything significant.

This Notion based task list organizes your tasks based on Impact and Effort, so you know where to focus.

It's based on a framework inspired by Paras Chopra, who is one of the clearest thinkers I've found on the internet.

Part 1: The Master List

Write down a task.

Tag the relevant project that the task belongs to. 

Then enter a number between 1 and 10 for the level of impact that the task will have. The more impactful the task, the higher the number should be.

Then do the same for Effort. The higher the effort required, the higher the number.

Lastly, enter a due date for the task, and you're all set.

Part 2: The Matrix View

This section will only show pending tasks that you have to accomplish today or should have accomplished before today, but didn't.

Tasks entered in Step 1 will auto-populate in 4 separate tables. 

You'll know exactly which tasks are high impact, and which ones aren't. 
All you have to do is schedule your tasks in one of 3 sessions - Morning, Afternoon, or Evening. Make sure to schedule high impact tasks during your most productive time.

Part 3: Today's Schedule

Tasks will appear in order of the day's sessions that were set in the matrix view.

It's always useful to split your planning time and execution time. This section is particularly useful for when you just want to execute through your day.

Part 4: The Project View

Each of your pending tasks will show up under their respective projects. Tasks with the earliest due dates appear higher.

When you setup time to work on a specific project - you'll know which tasks are the most urgent.

Part 5: The Calendar View

Pending tasks entered in Step 1 will show up in a calendar layout so you never miss a due date. You can also drag tasks to different days, and the data will get updated across all tables.
